Dai-ichi Seimei Hall‘s Annual Festival “Open House”
First time visitors to Dai-ichi Seimei Hall are very welcome!
Fun CONCERTS by 2 groups will be held on stage in the hall, and a special performance showing our “OUTREACH” activities (where performing artists visit elementary schools etc. to deliver music) will be made.

2nd Stage Starts 15:30 (Opens 14:50) Admission elementary school students and above

Let’s enjoy the colorful sounds of percussion instruments♪
A wide variety of originally arranged music will be performed with orchestration mainly using percussion instruments such as steelpans, drums, and keyboard percussion instruments such as the marimba, vibraphone, etc. This is an extremely popular event where you can enjoy proficient performance techniques as well as attractive musical arrangements which displays the characteristics of the instruments and attractive music composition.

Let’s take a walk in the sky with music!
The sounds born from the piano, 2 violins, viola and cello are almost like a small orchestra. You can hear various colors of sounds. Let’s take a relaxing walk into the sky listing to such sounds!

Holst: Jupiter from the “Planet” Suite

550 seats per each Stage/ Approximately 60 minutes/ No intermission
*Both Stages will be the same contents (2 groups will perform in each Stage)
*Up to 4 persons will be accepted under each application.
*Age restrictions: For the 1st stage, children 3 years old and younger, and for the 2nd stage, preschoolers are not admitted.

[Related Event] Please send us your Drawings of “Jupiter, the Universe, and the Starlit Sky”
The drawings will be put up on a large screen above the stage together with the music. We look forward to receiving your drawings.

【Event Overview】
In the concert to be held on July 23 (Sat.) of Dai-ichi Seimei Hall Open House 2022, during the performance of “Jupiter (composed by Holst)”, the drawings sent to us will be projected on a large screen on stage, as collaboration of music and the drawings.
Please read the “Important Notice” and “Application Rules” carefully, and submit your applications based on your agreement to such statements.

■Application Qualification
● You must have a ticket for the “CONCERT” to be held on July 23 (Sat.) of Dai-ichi Seimei Hall Open House 2022.

■Theme Either one of “Jupiter, the Universe, or Starlit Sky”

■Application Format
● In order to show the your drawing clearly on screen, please take a photo of the drawing or scan the drawing and send it to us by the form specified below. You may also send us digital drawings using drawing software.
● No restriction of size, however, the projection on screen will have a horizontally long frame size of 16:9.
● Please send in one of the following file formats: JPG/GI/PNG/BMP.

※However, only the first 80 applications will be accepted.
※Only one drawing per person may be applied for.

■Important Notice (points to note upon submitting applications)
・Applications will NOT be accepted by FAX, e-mail, or direct hand delivery.
・When you submit your application for this project, you will be deemed to have agreed to the Application Rules. If you cannot agree to the Application Rules, please do not apply.
・The drawing and personal information submitted in the application will not be used for any other purpose other than for this project.
・The projection will show the drawing only, and will not display personal information such as your name.
・Images of the projection may be used in Triton Art Network’s SNS or business reports etc.
・If the theme of a drawing is determined to be inappropriate for the performance (contrary to public policy), the drawing may not be used.

■Application Rules
・All rights including copyrights for the applied drawing must belong to the applicant at the time of submission of the application, and must not infringe on, or possibly infringe on, the copyright, portrait right, or any other right of a third party. Furthermore, in the case where responsibility for infringement of copyright or any other right is questioned, such situation shall be handled under the full responsibility of the applicant, and Triton Arts Network shall not accept any such liability.
・The copyright of the submitted drawing shall belong to the applicant, however, the applicant shall consent to Triton Arts Network having non-exclusive right of use of such drawing. The drawing may be used for promotions, press releases, event notifications, or other promotion activities by Triton Arts Network and any group authorized by Triton Arts Network.

■Request at the Concert Venue
During the concerts, we kindly ask that you refrain from taking pictures and videos from your seats, including the “Music and Arts collaboration” using smartphones etc.

◎Public Presentation of OUTREACH at Harumi Triton Square Meeting Room (directly connected to Dai-ichi Seimei Hall)

We are making a special public presentation of our “OUTREACH” activities where we deliver musicians and music to elementary schools etc. You can experience up close the sound of the “String Quartet” and music to played by violins, viola, and cello.

4th grade to 6th grade elementary school students may be admitted to each stage.
*The capacity limit for each stage is 20 children plus a parent/ Duration approximately 30 minutes.
*Only 1 child may be applied for under each application. Due to constraints of the venue, only one parent may attend to each child, and the parent will be asked to stand at the backside of the floor.

What is Outreach?
Outreach is an activity to deliver live music together with the musicians to persons who are not able to come to the concert hall, such as elementary schools, hospitals, and welfare facilities.
Triton Arts’ outreach to elementary schools are made to 4th graders of elementary schools who are becoming capable of thinking abstractly. By listen to live music in close distance, the children can experience the fun of music and be moved by music.
It is a special experience which is different from the music one can listen to at the concert hall.
